Spatt, while they were performing one of Sir Frederick Ashton's productions (late 1960's/early 1970's). Margaret Barbieri was a Principal with The Royal Ballet and one of Ashton's favourite dancers; Kelly became later particularly known for his interpretation of Ballanchine's ballets.
