Henry Kyd Douglas I Rode with Stonewall London Putnam 1941 Dark Red Cover Very Good One of the finest Confederate narratives. The author was born in 1840 in Virginia and became the youngest member of Jackson's staff. In this narrative, he tells of his experiences from the John Brown Raid to the hanging of Mrs. Surratt. This book is full of anecdotes of the times and is illustrated. The author died in 1903. This is the seventh printing and is stated to be "March 1941, 2,500 copies". The cover has a couple of small marks. No markings; a very good clean copy. Price:
