This book follows Scoresby from this point. The scenes at sea, on his way to the Arctic, are at the heart of this book. William Scoresby was a scholar and explorer, as well as a famous whaling captain. The author of this book has lived for twelve years in the home town of Scoresby and has had access to local records and Scoresby's own records. This is a book intended for young adults, which will please older adults alike. Dustjacket has a sticker shadow (but does not affect any picture or word) and light wear at the edges.Light foxing to edges of pages. It is not price clipped and there are no markings inside.
