The author was chief of mission for the USSR at the North Pole. Together with Russian colleagues (including Fedorov), he created a drifting polar station. They drifted during 274 days. This is his journal (translated from the Russian into French; we are not aware of a translation into English). With eight illustrations (photographs) and one map. No previous owner name or marking.
